It’s been a while since I’ve posted a blog, but I want to get back to posting weekly content. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve used this video as an example of how to address small T traumas from our past.
Small T traumas would include:
- Being bullied
- Death of a pet
- Emotional Abuse
- Losing an emotional relationship.
What I’ve found from my clients and my own life is that without these small T traumas, we wouldn’t have developed the gifts that have to this day.
Each struggle that young Clark was experiencing became a power he would need to take on the challenges he would experience in adulthood. The same can be said for ourselves. Without the small T trauma feeling broken, I would never have entered into the field of counseling which is my purpose in life.
So take the Smallville challenge and look into those moments of your past and find out what was developed inside you that never would’ve existed without the experience. We are a resilient people and this is an opportunity to redefine a past event.
